Black Perigord
The Dordogne department is divided into 4 Périgords. All are different and have their own identity. We are a campsite in the Périgord Noir
- The Périgord Noir: It takes its color from the truffle, but especially from the dark foliage of the holm oak forests and the old charcoal fields. It extends over the entire Vézère valley and part of the Dordogne valley in the southeast of the department.
- Purple Perigord: Color of the vines in autumn. It is the Bergeracois, the country of bastides and good wine.
- The White Perigord: These are the colors of the chalky soils, the white stones. It is the country of Périgueux and the valley of the Isle.
- The Green Perigord: The color of this last one comes from its vegetation. It is the valley of the Dronne and Nontron in the north of the Department.
